What a treat, to be able to 'relive' the tracks that started it all! It seems like yesterday; roaming around the local retail computer store, coming across the original Motocross Madness on the 1st day it went on sale! I took it home and have been addicted ever since. Then...learning about mxmadness.com and all the other online homes for all that is MCM...I was now committed to the game. MCM was all I played. All the other games didn't interest me in that slightest. This was the closest thing I had seen to the real thing...

My Dad put me on my 1st bike in 1973, I was two years old and the bike was an Indian 50 with training wheels! I spent the next 18 years of my life doing everything possible on a motorcycle. Every spare moment, every weekend was either a race, practice, or riding in the woods with my Dad. By the time I was 22, I had raced everywhere possible in Texas, as well as followed the AMA National series. I rode on the Saturdays before the 'real' Pro series races in the 250 intermediate and eventually the pro classes. Then injuries slowed me down. Two knee reconstructions, broken back, broken neck, and dozens of other broken bones forced me to call it quits. I was lucky to be walking! I don't regret a second of it!

MCM1, and now MCM2 keep me quite entertained. I can spend hours riding a track and not get too bored. I was one of the original founders of Twisted DIRT, along with Randall Kipker, his son Justin, and the now legendary DirtTwister (aka Baatk). I love doing whatever I can to keep this game going, and will continue to do so as long as possible. If you are new to this game or the MCM community, stick around. There is always something new and exciting (especially at www.twisteddirt.com). If you've been around as long as I have, thanks for helping make this game last! Without all of us, this wouldn't be possible!

This sounds like an Academy Awards speech...so I better stop!

Later!
